Briggs & Stratton Quiet Lawn Mower Engine Now Available
If you’re anything like me, you’ve found yourself in this or a similar situation last year: You’re going away for the weekend and you didn’t get a chance to mow the lawn during the week. You get up bright and early to cut the grass before you leave town, but before you start the mower, you realize the sun is barely up and chances are you’ll wake up your family and your neighbors.
What did you do? Did you cut the grass and risk the wrath of family and neighbors or leave your lawn in shambles? Share your comments below!
QPT Mower Engine Available on Craftsman Lawn Mowers
You’ll be happy that this year you won’t have to make that choice. Briggs & Stratton’s new lawn mower engine with Quiet Power Technology (QPT) has resulted in our quietest mower engine ever. It’s available now on select Craftsman walk-behind lawn mowers at Sears stores throughout the United States and soon to be Canada. You can even order a lawn mower with a Briggs & Stratton QPT engine online.
These Craftsman lawn mowers with Briggs & Stratton’s QPT are more than 65 percent quieter than similar walk-behind mowers thanks to less vibration and changes to the speed governing and fuel systems. QPT still delivers the same power expected from Briggs & Stratton engines except now you won’t have to choose between angry neighbors and a shabby lawn.
