What would you like to QPT?

Let’s face it. The world is a pretty noisy place. There are lots of annoying sounds we could all do without. Loud bosses (not mine, of course), honking horns, people talking way too loud on their cell phones, and my personal favorite, jackhammers. I can’t stand jackhammers.

At Briggs & Stratton, we are out to do something about that. To celebrate the launch of our Quiet Power Tecnology (QPT), Briggs’ & Stratton’s quietest lawn mower engine ever, we are giving you the chance to show us what sounds you find annoying.

Join the mower photo contest and share an image on Facebook as part of our “What Would You QPT?” Quiet Lawn Mower Giveaway and you could win one of five Craftsman lawnmowers that feature Briggs & Stratton’s QPT small engine. This quiet lawn mower is more than 65 percent quieter than similar mowers without QPT.

QPT: Quiet Lawn Mower Engine

So, don’t hold back, let us know what noises really irk you. It’s as simple as snapping a photo and sharing it with us to win the contest.

Think of it as a public service. Maybe, must maybe, if we all work together we can challenge the loud lawn mower and make the world a quieter place.

Find out about all of the innovative engines Briggs & Stratton is rolling out this spring, powering a new, foldable lawn mower for easy storage, and a no-choke, easy-starting riding mower.
